With his first band The U.S.APPLE CORPS, DENIS LEE BRYANT started playing at the tender age of 12 years old. By the time he was 14, DENIS was playing nightclubs and fronting major acts throughout the South. He was 15 when he was signed by a record company in Nashville,Tennessee. DENIS' band members were not studio quality, so the producer of his first album took ONLY DENIS to Memphis,Tennessee to the famous "SUN" Studio. Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis and Johnny Cash all recorded their first records there!
DENIS LEE BRYANT came up with the idea of taking some old gospel songs he loved, and putting them to a new rock style music as well as new melody lines. He recorded this new album in just three days. Due to his lack of how the music industry works, and the mishandling by the producer and record company, Denis failed to receive credit for his work. This record IS ALL DENIS LEE BRYANT'S WORK, and he wants the world to enjoy it. This album is out of press and this website is the only way for anyone to get it. It was one of the very first Christian/Gospel Rock albums ever made. It made the cover of Billboard, Cash Box and Record World magazines with rave reviews.
